A Study of The Rules and Regulation Dress in The Light of Islamic Teaching

Abstract

Cloth is a part of human nature. When prophet Adam (A.S) and Bibi Hawwa (A.S) ate from the prohibited tree so the first effect fell on cloths and they were put off. Prophet Adam (A.S) and Bibi Hawwa (A.S) covered themselves with the leaves of trees after being effected from nature. The Holy Quran describes this as; at last they were attracted by cheating. As they tasted from that prohibited tree. So they started feeling shame when watching their bodies. Now they have started to cover themselves from the leaves of Jannah trees. Man / human being after dismounting on the earth, firstly covered himself from the leaves of trees which is a proud of human being and human beauty is present in this. No animal has a sense to cover its body by now. If he/it covers his/its body so he/it becomes/seems bad /looks bad. Thus, this is a blessing of Allah (SWT) that he was given this sense to human being and also has bestowed the sense to wear better clothes. The starting of covering the human body by the leaves of trees. Today different types of beautiful clean and luxurious are used to cover that body. The pure shariyah has made some principles and ways keeping in view the beauty. Grace, dignity, body covering and preaching Haya. So that the dress would become a source thanks giving to Allah (SWT) and his guidance.
